Trompe L'oeil is french for 'Trick of the eye'
Trompe L'oeil distinguishes itself from ordinary decorative murals by its intent to deceive
and to create an illusion of a three dimensional space. Traditionally these are painted directly onto walls
(or ceilings or floors) and when viewed from the right place, should deceive the veiwer into thinking it is real.
